It’s showing as an outstanding active loan when it’s been paid off! I’m very aware that it won’t be removed from my credit ‘history’ but my question was if anybody knew when o2 update Experian so it can be removed from my active accounts... Thanks for your input though

How long since it was paid off?
Some agencies update monthly whilst others every 3 months, but as long as it isn't showing to be in default, I don't understand why it's an issue?

No. I have never defaulted on any payments. I do not want it removed as I’m fully aware of how credit files work.
It is showing as an ACTIVE loan but I paid the device off 2 weeks ago. So it is no longer active. But O2 haven’t changed this yet and my simple question was wondering if anyone knew when in the month O2 update their credit files

@Kim16

This is a question for the credit agencies, not O2.

O2 will inform them immediately that the device has been paid and the credit agreement closed, but as I mentioned before, some agencies update monthly whilst others are every 3 months.

You need to check with the credit agency then...not O2.
