Can I get a phone on contract, paying monthly when I’m 18 and have a stable job? Will my credit check go through?

With those criteria you should be ok but we can't tell you on here. The only way to confirm that is to apply for a contract

You also need to be resident in the uk for at least 3 years. 
Best way forward for you is to go in store with ID and see what the computer says.

Also remember the credit check isn't everything - O2 have a set of business polices they use as well, you can have a great credit score - but still get rejected if you fall foul of these polices - so the best way as others have said is give it a go - see what happens, and good luck.
