If they are genuine charges, no you won't be refunded.

You need to call customer services and also apply a zero spend cap to the account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You can try calling the Payment Management Team or customer service

0800 902 0217

The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

Getting through at this time of day is difficult. Best time to try is 8 am

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

You need to educate your children unfortunately. I doubt very much you will get any joy from customer service when you eventually get through but a spend cap and block on charge to mobile is urgent.

You may need to contact the supplier of anything that has been ought by someone underage. Good luck

\If you have a spend cap already @Purdy  then the money should be refunded.

Hi @Purdy

Is it Apple or Google store they were bought from? you can chase a refund through them via their appstore App as they are the ones that charged you not O2. Depending on when the purchases were made they are usually very good if you say that your child bought them without the bill holders permission.

Hope this helps

They refund it through the method it was purchased. In this instance it would be through o2.

Heres a walkthrough on how to apply for the refund via google. https://www.neowin.net/news/if-your-kids-made-in-app-purchases-without-your-consent-google-may-refun...
