Last month my mobile plan was £26.44, (3Gb Data and phone calls)
Just got an email notification that my "£35 plan" was going up to £39.69 !
Where on earth did they get that from ????
Am requesting a mac code for my phone number and shall be switching
to an 8Gb and phone calls plan for £7 per Month with another company . . .
I assume O2 cannot match that . . .
Anybody else having similar problems?
p.s. email was from Gareth Turpin (Chief Commercial Officer)
perhaps taking lessons from his ancestor who was also into daylight robbery!

There are deals that are time limited to 12, 18 or 24 months. After that, they revert to full price, so yours could be effected by that.

All explained here as per the T&C's you signed up to https://www.o2.co.uk/prices

I am aware of the annual RPI ? increase.
My main points were, that my £26.66 plan had morphed into a £35 plan (and that's before the April 2023 increase!), and I'd found a similar deal with another company offering calls and a lot more data, for a greatly reduced monthly payment.
Not sure why I got PAC codes and Mac codes mixed up, must have been thinking about lunch!

You need to contact them and query that as there could be an error on your plan. There have been no price rises since last April.

Thanks for your answer Enlli, but it's not worth the faff!
This other deal is so much better on all counts - I've have a 10" tablet with one of their SIMS in it, cheap, no problems and good signal strength (which is what I was worried about).
