Charge To Mobile

Howdi Folks. 

 

I have been with O2 for about 8 months, I am moving from H3G over slowly as each contract comes up. 

This week, I decided to setup Charge To Mobile for my 2 subs that I pay monthly. 

 

- Youtube Premium £12.99

- Goole One 2TB Cloud Storage £7.99

 

Subs are managed via the Google Play store (Subs being subscriptions)

Yesterday the payment failed for YT Premium. I check and retry - It fails with O2. 

 

I check my O2 - No issues with outstanding payments. 

Additional charges on bill set to £30 (Above what would be the combined cost of those 2 subs)

Charge To Mobile set to allowed. (IE No Bars) 

 

To prove it working, I went and bought a £1.09 app via O2 Charge To Mobile. 

It worked

I refunded and bought the app via my Google Play store credit instead (As it was a useful app)

 

Why wont it work for YT Premium but will for a small app? 

Am I missing something? I know about the £40 per transaction and £240 per month but it seems so odd.

Can confirm it still doesnt work. 

@Dave-O2 - Do you have access to my account, can you check if charge to mobile for subscriptions is valid etc? 

 

Why would an app purchase work and a subscription purchase not?

Bumping this old thread as I am also having this issue. YouTube Premium wouldn't renew for some reason. I cancelled and tried to re-sub but the option for 02 wasn't selectable. I don't have a limit set on my "charge to mobile"

Bumping this thread as I've started to have issues with this tonight. 

 

I use O2 charge to mobile for some in-game purchases. Never had any issues, but tonight it just keeps declining. 

 

I've tried to remove the payment method and re-add but the same keeps happening. 

 

Can anyone help? @Dave-O2 ?

@Dave-O2 I am having the same issue - about 3 weeks ago it started. O2 keep telling me 3-5 days to investigate but not getting anywhere. When trying to add to o2 billing it just says use another source of funds no error message. Account is fine, no cap and never missed a payment been with o2 for over 10 years

To put you in the picture he leaves at the end of this month and is presently clearing up some things

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
