I cannot access the data on my Samsung Galaxy A3. It will connect to WiFi but can't seem to use its own data since I changed my plan. O2 guru gave me a new sim which made no difference and the only other advice is change the phone. Anyone with other ideas?

Hello Pauline13, have you had a look at your data settings as they may be in correct

Will need to be as follows

Name: o2 Internet.
APN: mobile.o2.co.uk (PAYG: payandgo.o2.co.uk)
Username: o2web (PAYG: payandgo)
Password: password.
MMS Proxy: 82.132. 254.1.
MMS Port: 8080.
Authentication type: PAP.
APN type: If you're given a choice of options, pick internet+mms. If the keyboard shows, type in a * symbol.

Or your data plan may not be iPhone enabled if you have an iPhone or android enabled if you have an android phone.

Hope this helps.

If you previously had an iphone change the APN setting to ::

mobile.o2.co.uk

Or try texting ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings sent

@Pauline13

Have you got mobile data turned on in settings?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
