Can’t receive calls after number porting

I left EE and ported my number over to o2 on the form when I purchased my contract online.

My number has now transferred to my correct number when I call out but I can’t receive calls anymore it just goes to the old ‘EE’ voicemail.

I’ve been to settings - phone and it has the correct number, when I check I message / FaceTime it says the number will expire in 26 days 😕

Getting stressed as obviously I’d of hoped for a smooth transition.

spoke to customer services who didn’t really offer much help. i have reset phone and networks etc from my end.

can anyone from o2 help please?

@O2Lisa  I saw you solved this for somebody else? Are you able to help
thanks!

It has now worked. Time worked, but also restarted and removed sim every few hours, ensuring to change number on settings - phone . And removing numbers in iMessage and FaceTime and removing sim and after refresh it worked.

I'm afraid we are all customers here.

You might be better contacting O2 via social media

Message O2 on
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB
Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I have the same issue.

Ported my old number from Vodafone to O2 last week and now can’t receive calls (but can make them).

I been removing and re-inserting the sim several times a day since last Friday and also turned off/on multiple times, cleaned SIM card over and over again & reset carrier settings.

Can any one help with a fix?

I tried the online chat with customer services before posting here - totally useless. I have since tried the suggestion of social media (Facebook as don’t do the others) and still waiting for a response.

Can any one who has been through the same issue provide details of how it got resolved.

@O2Lisa are you able to help?
