Hi my problem basically is I can send texts on my iPhone 7 but cannot not receive them and same with majority of calls. Have tried another sim in the phone and works fine. Have tried sim in another phone and same problem occurs. I’ve tried resetting network settings, swapped to a brand new sim. O2 guru in store had ‘ never come across this in 10 years’ Spoke to o2 technical team and they tried to call and message the phone with no success. The next step is to assign an engineer to my case and apparently ‘check the lines ‘ which I don’t really get and can take 6 working days. Has anybody experienced anything like this and can point me in the right direction for a quicker fix? Thanks in advance

I'd guess that O2 need to completely disconnect you from the network for 24 hours to reset everything.
When did this problem start?
Has it always been an issue or was it after an upgrade or tariff change of some sort?

Hi thanks for the reply, around 2 weeks I think. Use WhatsApp and iMessage mainly so wasn’t aware of the problem until a relative asked why I hadn’t replied to 3 messages. Sends texts fine, makes calls fine. Internet connection fine. Can’t receive any texts whatsoever and majority of phone calls can’t get through. The annoying this is I’m locked out of my Apple Id as I can’t receive their verification code as the text you it or call you. Very frustrating
