Trying to help my mum with a bizarre situation. She got a missed call from an unknown number (almost certainly spam) and attempted to call it back and then when it went straight to an error message attempted to clear her call log (which she does all the time).
Basically she seems to have fumbled around in a strange way and has added this unknown disconnected number as the SIM card number and her Profile on her phone is now displaying as this number. I honestly have no idea how this was done. The phone is an older Samsung model. When I call this number it remains as a disconncted number. When I call my mum's number, her phone rings as normal. She's going to the o2 shop tomorrow but in the SIM card manager I can't edit anything or even turn it off as it's the only sim in the phone. Any ideas what has happened here?
TLDR Mum has somehow saved a random spam number as the main number of the sim/profile
