I started a case with O2 on14th December 2023 that is still unresolved, although having looked on 360 with a man in the Oxford O2 shop all of my calls have been “resolved”. Basically, I get error 08 on trying to get my Apple Watch series 9 working with an O2 mobile service. I’ve managed to get the error removed once by customer services back at the end of January but trying to signup again and going through the signup process resulted days later in error 08 after it got stuck activating and the agent asked me to reset the mobile service. I was told to expect a call back but two weeks have gone by without anything.
It’s so annoying but if nobody here can help I think I have no alternative other than to leave O2.

Hello @mjs_1 Sorry for my late reply - I wasn't online recently.
First you need to call O2 or visit the O2 Store and ask them to reset your Watch account - this will remove 08 code. When this is done, then you need to unpair your Apple Watch first and after that ask for a new SIM/e-SIM swap - (depends on which one you use). After all these, please install your new SIM/eSIM in your iPhone and pair your Watch with your iPhone again. During the pairing process you should be asked whether you want to buy a new Apple Watch Plan (£7 a month) or use/install your plan that you already have. If you already have a Watch plan, please choose your old plan, if not, please choose to buy a new one. And then all should work. Please let me know if I can be any more of help. And good luck!

Thanks, @Peter_L - I hope that helps @mjs_1
Meantime, another solution to error code 08 for inclusion in the Activate Apple Watch Guide perhaps, @Dave-O2?
