Does anyone know how quickly an apple watch plan takes to activate Info given at store when we bought our phone plan didn't tell us we needed another plan for the watch to work independently. We are going to Europe on Monday and want to get this going before we leave the UK but the plan has just been activating for the last 3 hours thanks

It should be instantly, but can take 24hrs to activate.. If it is still waiting to activate tomorrow then either pop into an o2 store or call o2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2
I know mine activated straight away.
If you bought the watch from o2 on pay monthly then they will only sell it with an airtime plan at £7 per month.
Also be aware the Apple Watch is UK Only on o2
The Apple Watch does not currently have the hardware capability to work abroad or roam when the Watch is not in Bluetooth proximity of the Paired iPhone. This means the Watch data allowance is UK only.

Thank you again for your advice I went online and finally got past the bot I spent over 45 mins where the contact said they had dealt with it and that it was all ok now Once again it is 48 since I was told this and the message on my phone still says O2 activating with the wheel of death just going round Customer Service is just so painful. I have tried to find out if there is anything I need to do to the Apple watch but can't find any useful information

@shamick59 Use Google to find the Apple website, they'd be in a better position to help you with their product than the worse than useless O2 CS.

You are best speaking to o2 via Social Media rather than on the phone or live chat..
@Anonymous
All Apple will tell the op is to contact o2, and why the **bleep** does anyone have to google Apples website, unless you are that thick....
