Hi guys,

year ago I purchased Apple Watch 6 on contract here with o2…it is not paired with any device anymore as I got Apple Watch 7 for Christmas. I’m trying to use the data airtime plan with the 7 as I’m not using the 6. However I’ve tried everything re set Watch remove data plan etc,

it says the data plan is connected on my watch however it does not work. O2 seem to be clueless when I contact them even went to the store they just don’t have an answer.

Will  I need an separate airtime plan even though I’m paying for one which isn’t used on the Apple Watch 6?

thankyou

@Ryan22

O2 need to cancel the plan for the 6 and setup a new one for the 7.

It can't be transferred.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Getting no where with customer service…so will I need to pay the device plan off from the Apple Watch 6 to clear airtime then take air time plan out for my 7, just confused as the 6 isn’t paired or nothing, my 7 is showing as connected even got a text today saying it’s active yet in settings it says network provider and information not available. I’m out of ideas

If you've not finished paying for the 6 it will need to be paid off first, yes.

Would I be able to take second airtime out for the 7 instead As o2 seem to think that would work but I’m unsure as it’s same number that I took the 6 out on even though it isn’t used.

I don't think it's possible to have 2 on the same phone number @Ryan22
