My contract says 4gb my account overview says 2gb. Will I be charged if I exceed 2GB?

As you have volt your 2gb is automatically doubled to give you the 4gb as advertised.

Data will stop when used up so no extra charges.

You may have a bolt on for the extra data anyway Guide: Where is my discount or Extra Data?

Thanks MI5. I do not want to buy a bolt on as I have already paid for 4GB. It's just that my billing wrongly shows an allowance of 2GB

Bill summary: My tariffs - Volt O2 Sim Only Unlimited mins 18M
2GB : 26 Dec 22 - 25 Jan 23

Contract: 4 GB UK Data.
- Plus free Wifi at thousands of O2 hotspots.

With O2 if you have taken XGB of data and used XGB then your internet services will stop working and you need not have to worry about bill shocks.

 

In this situation to enable the data services back you can but bolt-on upto your billing cycle.
