I have recently upgraded to unlimited data and ever since I have I dont get 5g can you tell me why?

To get 5G, you have to have a 5G capable phone, a 5G sim and be in a 5G area.
Check your phone network settings. Reboot your phone.
The fact you upgraded your tariff would have nothing to do with you not getting 5G. If you need extra help then message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
