Solved: 2 sim contracts

Hi I have a contract with o2 and have just purchased another sim only so my dad can use it. I will be paying for both and want to keep the two separate but I got a text saying to activate my new sim text SWAP to a number... I don’t want to swap... I want to keep them both going... can I? How do i? I can’t get through to anyone on the phones.
