How long do you need to have been on a 20mb plan before being eligible for a 12m upgrade? Can you have started on a 10mb 24m plan, change to a 20mb plan after 9m and still get an upgrade after 12m?

The answer is no for any eligable handset

"The Eligible Device and Eligible Tariff must be purchased together at the time of purchase. Where the Customer purchased an Eligible Device on a tariff other than an Eligible Tariff and subsequently migrates to an Eligible Tariff they will not be eligible to participate in the Yearly Upgrade Programme."
