I recently noticed that my monthly standard bill had increased so I wanted to find out why.

From the bill I have been charged for 2 calls to the above numbers so I tried to check these out to see who they were.

The facility on the My O2 page didnt recognise these numbers despite them printed on my bill so I put them into Google which came back as both numbers from China.

I have never called or spoken to anybody in China to my knowledge so is there any further way I can investigate these 2 numbers to see whether it is something I have un-intentionally done or if someone else has hacked my number and bouncing off it?

@Trevster65 They are UK mobile numbers.

Call customer services and they will explain why charges may be relevant.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I can see why @Trevster65 thought it was China

I have had a few calls recently which look like mobile numbers and when you ring back it tells you the number is not recognised,.....

Number spoofing is always a possibility these days.
The solution is never to call back any numbers that you don't recognise.
If it's important, they will call again.

Yes I did think of that after I rang back. I thought 'whoops you may have been charged for that you fool' scream.

Luckily I wasn't. I only phoned back as I was expecting a call from a tradesman.
