Hi,

If you mean the phone has been disconnected due to non usage you will need to speak to customer services, if it is Pay and Go you can ring 0344 8090222 from a landline and it will cost a standard UK rate call. If it is Pay Monthly 0344 809 0202.

If the phone is locked due to an incorrect pin entry and is requesting a PUK you can request it here.

Hope that helps.

@Goodenough

Is your Mum on contract or PAYG?

A phone doesn't need unlocking  when you don't use it.

Service may have been restricted if her bill hasn't been paid (contract)

 or hasn't been used for 6 months (PAYG)

She may need to top up her phone if PAYG  Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

If that doesn't work you need to call O2 on her behalf and ask them why it's no longer working.

All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Best number to call is 0800 587 4005.
