Long story but my new device has been IMEI blocked. I spoke to Customer Services this morning who advised me that they will raise the 'forms' to the 'back office' to get the IMEI unblocked.
The issue I am having is that I can't access my account as I need an OTC which is being sent to the number, which the phone is paired to which is blocked. Without the OTC I can't access my account and as it's an eSim, I can't take it out and place it in another device temporarily. Bit of a paralysis.
My question is, how quickly do the IMEI blocks take to be deactivated? I am completely stuck until the sim can connect and then obtain the relevant OTC.

Best bet is to go into an O2 Store with photo ID and switch to a plastic SIM to use in another phone
O2 are not usually guick on these IMEI problems

The question is who blocked it and why?
Was it bought from O2 or elsewhere?
