I have a Doro phone on O2 Pay as You Go and cannot receive texts from a friend in the UAE who is connected to the local network Etisalat, but the friend can receive my texts. I believe this a common problem but can anyone offer a possible solution?

Can you and your friend use WhatsApp to text each other?

It will eliminate any network issues and once you both have the app it works just like texting.

Thanks but the Doro phone my friend has is a very simple one and I don't believe apps such as WhatsApp are available bit I'll check
