Stopping the O2 contract marketing texts

Anonymous
Not applicable

I know O2 would prefer that customers are on contract PAYG suits me fine for my level of usage and it would cost me more to run it on sim only (I know as I've tried)

I don't mind getting the odd text about O2 services and PAYG related stuff but is there anyway to stop just the contract marketing texts?

Go into your choices in your MyO2.

You'll need your phone to receive a confirmation text too now.

Ah, y'see - this is *why* they actually need that info (I chanced upon this today, after they'd sent a txt to my phone to let me get into the privacy settings part of my profile...!)  alertHorrified
