I just asked to swap my SIM to a nano, and the customer support guy said I should receive my SIM card within 3 to 5 working days, but the issue is my current SIM is no longer working and says SIM not provisioned....how can they turn off my current SIM before my new one even arrives?

@Argentum

They always do, but you probably didn't need a new sim unless yours was very old.

You'll need to contact O2 to try to reconnect your old sim or wait for the new one.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2, so we cannot access your account, sorry.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I'm afraid this is the crackpot way O2 roll these days. Nothing to be done now till the new SIM arrives.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I have contacted CS and they say everything is working properly.... Clearly not...this process is daft..I had an old std SIM and needed a new nano SIM for new phone...might as well get a new SIM from a new provider... it'll be easier...
