I just wanted a SIM card that started with 10 which could be topped up when needed but O2 keeps giving me a monthly £10 data bundle. How do I stop it.

O2 don't do a PAYG sim which you top up when you want

Have a look at 1pmobile or other MVNO's.

What you want is a type of PAYG that no longer exists

You don't have to renew but

If you don't renew your O2 Big Bundle each month, you'll be charged standard rates for out-of-bundle usage:

Calls: 55p per minute

Texts: 30p each (excluding picture or premium messages)

Data: £2 per day for 100MB

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
