I have a PAYG sim card which I use in an iPhoneX. I have noticed that if I have no WiFi connection when away from home, I am unable use any browser even though there is a strong 3G or 4G signal available. I have reset my network settings and reset the Mobile Data settings on the phone but the outcome is the same. Any attempt to load a web page eventually times out. As I am using an iPhone do I need to have the idata bolt on enabled? There is conflicting information on the web about what the Mobile Data network settings should be. Mine shows an APN of payandgo.o2.co.uk for Mobile Data and MMS with a Username of vertigo for both. Is that correct?

You settings are correct for a PAYG sim.
Have you checked to see if the apps are allowed to use mobile data.
Settings >Mobile data and scroll down?

Sounds like an account issue then.
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks
