Pac code on new PAYG sim - no credit

I have ported my phone number to an o2 PAYG SIM only to realise the signal in my area is extremely poor 0 to 1 bar.

The only option I can see is to move again to another provider. But o2 say I can only receive a PAC via text message. I do not want to waste £10 simply to send a message to move elsewhere.

Does anyone know why they cannot simply provide the PAC over the phone?

NB: I am able to receive texts and calls.

Hi - I am also trying to get a PAC code to move my number to a new network, but have £0 credit so unable to text PAC to 65075. I have tried speaking to the O2 team on the phone, but they won't give e a new PAC code for my number as I got one from Vodafone only a few days ago. Any help @O2Lisa thanks!!!!

Dear @O2Lisa I am having the same issue, I have an 02 pay as you go sim card and am looking the get a PAC code but have no credit. I would be very grateful if you could help me to get it, if possible? thanks
