PAYG Rolling plan

I just upgraded my rolling plan to higher allowances £15 per month. It says its not due to start for another couple of days but I need it now as I've no data on current rolling plan. How can I do this and start early?  I can't bear to contact customer services as they have hard to deal with and pass you around so many different departments.
