My brother-in-law has just upgraded his PAYG package via the My O2 app to the £10 big bundle for 6GB data, unlimited minutes and text. He only had £2.60 credit on there at the time, but then once he had changed the package, then topped his phone up by £10.00. Should this this top up have then been taken off straight away to enable the free minutes, text and 6GB data, or is it taken later in the day?

What tariff did he upgrade from?

If the classic tariff there won't be an anniversary date so will have to call 4445 to activate the new bundle tariff.

The change over won't happen until the normal anniversary date @tjgrant1973 and the payment will be taken then.
