After having seen the advert on the website. Today I bought a pay as you go 7GB for £10, and activated by topping up with £10 credit, and then I sent a text message FREE10 to 21500 and I had a reply: your balace is £0, it looks like this offer isn't for you 😞 why isn't it for me?

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

The offer applies to SIMs bought from O2 (shop or website) when registered within 28 days of purchase. If you bought your SIM from another outlet (B&M or similar) it may have been on the shelf for more than 28 days - O2 might be able to help, if you contact them as advised by @MI5, but are not compelled to do so:
- See here -> 9. SIM cards acquired through any other channel or returned within the Change-Your-Mind period do not qualify for this Offer. SIMs acquired through third party distributors are excluded and will not qualify for this Offer.
Good luck!

I had the same issue after topping up £30 . Today I was given £5 credit but my sim card envelope states £10. No one has dealt with it

O2 sent me this with sim card as new customer but it says it's not for you and gave me £5 today. It's false advertising
