I use “pay as you go” service. I have voicemail off and mobile data switched off (I am at home using wifi). Today I got a phonecall and I rejected it. After that I immediately got pop up on my screen (grey background with white font) showing me my current balance. I realised I was charged £1 for rejecting the call. How does that make sense?

I'm not sure you were charged for rejecting the call.

Have you had data on at all today before connecting to wifi?

You wouldn't have been charged for rejecting a call.

As I mentioned, I have been having data off, for a while in fact (few months now). I double checked immediately after I got the balance pop up message, and yes, the data was off.

All I know is my internet has been off for months now, voicemail was deactivated ages ago, I rejected a call and 1 sec later pop up showed me £1 taken from my balance. So it looks like rejecting a call cost me £1.

You'll have to calll 4445 to see where the £1 went then.

It isn't for rejecting a call, that's for sure.

Hi @AlexxH100 welcome to the o2 community forum
Strange that ....
as suggested you should call customer services to check what it was for.
You may be wise to put on a bar to stop unauthorized charges from scams to your phone too. There are so many scams out there.
Take care best wishes TallTrees
