Are 0800 calls free on classic payg? The t&cs seem to say they are, but the o2 live advisor said they were not.

Due to an OFCOM ruling ALL 080 calls from any phone have to be free.
0843 / 0845 numbers are not free though.

Yes they are free on payand go as well as monthly contract.
