Well it's over a month since that last post and - having experienced the same problems with websites and repair numbers not working this isn't looking very good is it?

It doesn't give you much confidence if indeed they can't fix a link in over a month.

Can you confirm if the link to the tracking site doesn't work or the actual repair reference number?

Im having exactly the same problem. Left my phone in on Saturday and got an acknowledgement email shortly after containing a link to the repair site that just times out every time I've tried to access it. Here's the text of the email:
We're sending your phone to our repair centre to get it up and running again. We'll let you know when it's there.
In the meantime, you can track it online, go to www.o2.co.uk/repairs and type in your repair number 0208040089478 and your postcode.
I've tried the alternative link that was posted previously, but like the others on here, it doesn't find any repair. After the abuse I suffered in one shop for having the gall to suggest that O2's policy doesn't trump the Consumer Rights Act and now this, the chances of me being a return customer are rapidly diminishing

@Toby for feedback the above link redirects to selfserve.o2repairtracking.co.uk which is reported as being down.

Just tried it myself...wouldn't even connect. Didn't even get an error message!
