WiFi Extra in London Underground

Has anyone noticed in a limited number of London Underground stations a WiFi hotspot which appears to be O2 WiFi branded and called WiFi Extra?

At times I can join it while at times it requires a password.  To make things more interesting I am currently not registered for O2 WiFi.

Have a look here mate - Might give you the info you need?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

WiFi extra is automatic registration and does not require you to log in.
Normal hotspots still require a log in process though.

Ah OK.  So it is an official hotspot.  Would you know which stations have it?

Thanks!
