I'm due an upgrade on 2nd July - how do I go about actually getting an upgrade as my sister had to fight to get a decent one. Her upgrade was paying the same per month and paying loads for a new phone 😕 Not much of an upgrade. Surely customers who've been paying monthly for 2+ years should get some kind of deal?
Any tips would be great thanks as I'd love a new phone but certainly can't afford a new one - my iphone 3gs is rubbish with internet. I can only use it with wifi even though I pay for internet per month. I spent a morning trying to fix this on chat on here and they couldn't sort it, said someone from technical support would call me and they never did 😞 Hell, I just want a new phone that works properly now thanks. I have been paying for 2 years now so would like a good upgrade.

So in short - I won't get anything when I upgrade? Why call it an upgrade? Surely it should be a renewal? I'm so fed up, I stupidly chose to pay a bit more each month as I thought that 2 years of paying this amount would result in me getting oh, I don't know - AN UPGRADE!!?
Today I shall be looking at contracts with anyone else but O2 then.

Yup Buttoon, that's about the size of it :smileysad:, and O2 are laughing al the way to the bank!
I'm absolutely positive that you'll find a much better deal than any that O2 will offer you, but, you may have to compromise on the phone :smileysad:.
Remember that none of the service providers are in it out of the generosity of their hearts. They're greedy and ruthless and don't give a flying fig about losing contracts from little people like us.
I hope you find something that you're happy with.
Finally, a word to Bandofbrothers, if you're still reading....
I guess that depends on how you define 'resolved', wouldn't you say?
Neither Buttoon, nor I have achieved a satisfactory resolution, but we're both moving on.
