I am trying to change my tariff to one I have seen on moneysavingexperts.com. 40GB for £10.00p/m but why can I not see this offered to me in MyO2?

You need to use a third party such as USwitch

Many of the regulars on here use that way to change tariff or upgrade

Because, you need to get it from one of the Comparison sites, and then go through the process of ordering from there and saying you are an existing customer. and it should apply it.

I think @MI5 did this recently, and can walk you through the process.

MSE website will send you to O2 to complete the purchase in any case, if it is an O2 Offer, @Jim-Am -

Yes, as the guys have said above, you click through from your preferred savings website and it will add it to your O2 basket to complete the purchase.

Make sure you choose to upgrade your current number to avoid a credit check.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I did mine via USwitch but I think the process is the same.

After saying I wished to purchase I was transferred to O2 to complete. After giving all the info I was asked was I an existing customer that wanted to change to this tariff.

Whole thing took about 10 min and I was on the new tariff there and then.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
