Hi, I recently upgraded.
I got the new phone and put the replacement sim that O2 sent in and left the original sim in the old phone.
Did live chat and the person stated that I needed to text swap to 20220 and they would activate the new sim.An hour later the original sim is offline, the replacement shows no service.
Did live chat again and they tried to activate the replacement and couldnt, nor can they reactivate the original. I have had no service or phone for 24 hours now.
The second live chat said they would probably have to send another simcard out and do it all over again!
In the meantime i have checked the old messages etc and found the swap text stuck on deferred in the outbox! but as that sim is offline I cant resend.
Does anybody know any short cuts to get the sims back? What do I need to ask for? I cant go much longer without the phone,I only have this for contact with the family, school and work etc.
Many thanks for taking the time to read through this mess!
Susi.

Try using the Swapmysim form here:
If that doesn't work try an O2 shop if there's one near you and they'll do it straight away.
