In Switzerland and roaming is not working on my android device. I have just also been to Germany and France where it worked perfectly, but not here. Have already tried changing the APN to mobile.o2.co.uk and turned off 4G with no luck, any suggestions?

Reset your apn to the correct android settings from here http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/o2-apn-settings and reboot your phone.
If that fails, do a manual network search and select a different network.

Had the apn settings changed? They shouldn't alter from one country to the next so maybe there is a local network issue. As said, try a manual search.

I've tried resetting the apn settings and changing networks with no luck. I'm getting a signal, just no connection as an exclamation mark is next to the bars. My friend is also having the same problem on her iPhone.

I can only guess that there is a problem with the network you are connected to or the area you are in.
