PAC code

Hello, I wanted the PAC code cause i wanna go with another network (giffgaff), I called 4445 and it gives me an 8 only-letters code, but giffgaff asks me for a different style of code. 'Please enter a valid Porting Authorisation Code (AAA111111)'

It sounds like you have been given a PUK code. You need to call customer for a PAC.

You need to call again and get the correct code.

I bought a new phone on weds with a £20 big bundles to;p up voucher. I rang o2 as I was told I needed a PAC code. being on Pay & Go it cost me £7 when I phoned customer services. After all that I was given the wrong code. At this rate I will have used up my £20 phoning again. Not a happy bunny to say the least.

If you call 4445 from your o2 phone it will only cost you 25p per call at worst, but it's a free call on big bundle so I don't know how you managed to lose £7 ?

If you bought a new phone on P&G then it will have to be on the network for the 12 months before they will unlock or give you a PAC which you need to take your number to a new network. Calls to customer service cost 25p not £7.00....
