Ordering Online.

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to order and upgrade my iPhone through the O2 website.

I've got to the checkout and I've been trying to use the click and collect section. When I select the O2 store I want to collect it from, I keep getting this message coming up - 'Something went wrong. Please try again later'. I tried last night and today to click and collect but I'm getting the same results.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

Thank you,

Liam.

I'd ring customer service o2 Customer Services Link http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to complete or better still upgrade in store so you walk out with the phone.

So many have been affected recently with out of stocks and failed courier attempts etc

I should add, you will need id with you so either driving licence or passport PLUS a recent utility bill should do it.

That way you get to upgrade and collect your phone at the same time.

@Anonymous This going to sound a bit random but there's a reason why I'm asking...

if you look at my O2, your personal details, is there anything on there, like your name for example that has just initials and a dot instead of the full word?

It just seems to me that the website is not fit for purpose. Save the hassle and go instore as suggested.

Totally agree with forgetting the website.
Do a quick search on here and you'll see the amount of problems people have, not only with ordering, but stock levels through to delivery.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Anonymous  was the OP who asked about click and collect a couple of days ago. (I do remember some things :smileywink:) I think work commitments made it easier to order this way.

No idea why the website wont allow him to continue with it. Is there ever an instance where some O2 shops don't participate in the C+C scheme? If so, the website info didn't indicate this......

Hi rosadosc,

Everything in my details on my O2 look ok, with none of what you said being present!

Hi Cleoriff,

Your memory serves you well 😉 Yes that was me who asked about click and collect a couple of days ago.

The reason why I'm trying to do it via website is, the iPhone 6 that I want is the silver 64GB one, but when I went to my local shop they didn't have the silver in 64GB in stock, they told me it would be 5-10 days time before they had any in stock. On the website, they still didn't have the silver in 64GB in stock, but it would be up to 7 days to deliver. Also, it would be more convienent for me.

I shall try a couple of more times, before venturing out to the O2 shop.

Liam.
