O2 open for friends & family

Please can someone advise how I add the discount for my husband with my work discounts.
Have been advised that we both get 25% each. Have managed to do mine but when I try and do his it obviously won’t let me do it the same way as it’s my national insurance number etc.

O2 open can no longer be shared I’m afraid.
You’ll have to apply for family plan discount for your husband https://www.o2.co.uk/family-plan

If someone has O2 Open, can they automatically get Family Share or would they have to apply within the first 28 or 30 days of opening the account? I'm not sure exactly how this works.
