I work for the nhs and have just brought the new samsung galaxy s7 edge i went to the o2 open website and read faqs which say
What's the deal, in simple terms?
O2 Open gives customers 25% off airtime plans with 3GB or above data and 15% off airtime plans below 3GB. This is across all Refresh 24 month Pay Monthly voice and Mobile Broadband tariffs.
but o2 says it does not apply to samsung galaxy s7 or s7 edge phone.

Ah I see. Only the tariffs up to 20GB are sharer compatible, the special 30GB tariff isn't unfortunately. This may be contributing to the issues with your data plan. Was it your intention to use the 30GB as part of the sharer plan?

Sure. This isn't something I've seen before, but if you go to https://shareddata.o2.co.uk , does it appear that the mobile number assigned to your S7, is linked to any other devices? If so, you could try to unlink them

I can't think what may be causing these issues then 😕 Maybe some others have suggestions? In the meantime though, you could maybe include this in an email to the complaints review team so you know that it's being looked into as well as the open discount
