According to this http://status.o2.co.uk/ you already should have 2g for calls and texts ?

Do you have WiFi because you could use voip services like Skype or WhatsApp, Facebook messenger or Viber as alternatives

@DonnchadhMor Have you checked to see if any of the other networks have coverage in your post code? If they do, maybe you should consider changing providers?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
