Tried to redeem Netflix offer but unable to because Netflix account set up (Oct’18) with email address instead of Tel. No. so O2 link to get offer doesn’t work.
Help!!!!

They couldn’t help
Were not aware of the problem
Netflix suggested closing my Netflix account then opening a new one using Tel No. instead of Email address & then redeeming offer
Just seemed longwinded
Was hoping for easier fix

Forgot to add I would also need to use a different email address with Netflix otherwise it would just restart current Netflix account

Not sure who told you that but my Netflix is set up with an email address and had no problem redeeming the offer.
Once logged into Netflix you follow the link to redeem a code which o2 will have sent you in the first stage of the redemption process.

Ye0 they had a link to go to ad your number and then signed into Netflix and it worked
