My 02 'free' texts ??

hi..

 

As I can't get through to any of the 02 shops/stores I thought I would try here.

 

Am I right in thinking(fyi..I am on pay as you go)that if I send a text message to another O2 account there is no charge. I only ask as I did send a few to one particular number and no charge came up.

 

Someone seemed to think that the 'most used' O2 numbers on my phone ? do get this free service.

 

Is this correct and how do I find out which of my O2 contacts  are on this >

will see what happens. Definately NOT charged last week or today.

Could do with talking to O2 or a guru..but not easy at the moment

Hi @mucky1957

Would be worth clarifying your tariff by calling 4444, it will also confirm what your balance is and anything free you should get on your tariff. You could still be on an old tariff which would give you free o2 texts.

the balance is currently is £11.10

 

I have no idea where to look on my account to see if I have any special numbers or preferences ?

There aren't any free texts on that tariff.

As I've said, you should be charged for every text.

Why you aren't is a mystery but I personally wouldn't be trying to bring it to O2's attention in case they start charging you again wink

Thanks @M15 just wanted to check incase there was any doubt. 😊📱

The number I suggested would normally tell you anything listed on your account. As there’s a tariff and bolts ons option. Sometimes you might get a free extra, but confirmation would normally be in your texts and it should show up here too.

If you’re ever near a local shop they could check to see anything on the account. I can see that customer services have been tricky to get hold of and I think more so in the last few days.
