Hello I am a new customer transferring from TalkTalk keeping my number. I have set up an account and I have provided a PAC number etc. I received new sim 1st August and told it would activate 6pm next day.
This hasn't happened.
I would appreciate any advice. I have left my previous sim in. Taken it out tried the 202 in the new o2 sim and nothing.

10 days is not really acceptable in this day and age but glad you are finally sorted. Welcome but beware of some strange people on here.....

Update August 18th 2018
On August 14th - I received my "contract with O2" !
First page was very straight forward
1. Shows unchanged mobile number (but no matter)
2. Sim detail
3. Price
4. Min. contract duration
5. Minutes details
6. Texts details
7. Data details
"Agreement"
1. Charges/Price increases - so as I understand it contract details change with regard to price every April based on RPI.
First 2 pages are reasonable and understandable. The following pages then are printed in very small print and are difficult ~ so I'll leave it there.
No doubt all will amble along.
So this seems like the end of the SAGA. ~ transferring my account and mobile number to O2.
