Hi,
I'm currently paying 10 pounds a month for the international favourites bolt on which in theory is a great idea. But, as of the last 3 months I have been charged crazy amounts of money (for example my latetst bill was an extra 120 quid) for international calls even though I use the numbers O2 provides you with for the international favourites. This constant ball ache of a problem causes me to go into over draft the whole time with my bank account and then I get charged 50 quid on over draft. Also it means I have to spend 2 hours on the phone with O2 services with not much of a result.Has anyone else been having this problem recently? And if you have, did you recieve any compensation for the problem from O2 and was the extra money taken off future bills with O2 or put straight into your account?
Thanks and hope to get answers soon!

Hi @Anonymous Yes I realise you get 3000 minutes.. but those are to landlines. I wondered whether there was any chance you were ringing mobiles instead hence my query.
Obviously not... so you need to challenge the cost. Your first step would be to customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus.... If there is no joy then please put in a complaint
I would certainly think of changing to World Chat though ...I also linked to that as well...:smileyhappy:

Hi @Anonymous
I never had a problem with International favourites when I used it....
Are you exceeding your minutes with the £10 bolt on by ringing mobile numbers instead of landlines? You only get 100 minutes with that one. You may want to increase to the £20 package where you get 200 minutes
To be honest unless you can prove to O2 that you haven't made as many calls as your bill indicates then you won't get any type of refund
You may want to think about using World Chat http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/world-chat or even TuGo http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go

Without seeing a breakdown of your bill and the charges it's difficult to comment. Customer service should be able to give you a reasonable explanation but if not then make the complaint. I much prefer the World Chat app.

Hi @Cleoriff
The deal that I get with my 10 pounds bolt on is 1000 mins for each number ( so 1000 mins per phone number which is a total of 3 phone numbers) so plenty of talk time! The problem I have had is that I call these numbers within the alloted talk time minutes and O2 charge me for each call instead of it being taken off my international favourties call minutes. Was wondering whether anyone else has had this problem and whther they have been compensated for the mistake from O2.
Thanks for your help so far and looking forward to hearing your response!
