Hi
Because I'm hard of hearing (75) I miss a lot of calls and rely on people leaving me messages instead.
Does 02 send a text to let you know that you have got a message on the answering service or must you check every half hour if you are expecting a call from someone?
This is important to me as this is how my surgery will be letting me know that my Covid jab is waiting for me. Not something I want to miss.
Can someone please let me know how this works?
Thank you.
Michael.

It really depends on your phone. I have a Note 8 which is a Samsung and I always get a message that I have 1 new voicemail, or 1 missed call. I can always tell as there is a red telephone icon on my home page which shows a VM or missed call.
So in other words, its the phone which tells you, not O2.
I think most phones do the same, but if you can't hear, you will need to check.
I think you would be far better to call your surgery and ask them when your appointment is for your Covid injection.
They will have a system in place to make these appointments. Also they know you are deaf so should be able to tell you when your appointment is planned for.
