Just been to O2 shop in Castle lane Belfast. Problem with phone, 4 months old and still paying for it. Phone has no physical damage or water ingress Very abrupt and downright rude conversation, on the doorstep, with woman who described herself as the manager, although she wouldn't give me her name. She just kept spouting company policy and O2's rights Well Madam what about my rights as a consumer my biggest right is to take my custom elsewhere and advise others to do the same O2 you suck 🤬

Shame on the shop in question

You are probably much better off dealing directly with the manufacturer @BadService

Well if you would rather deal with O2

You need to call customer service

All numbers are in this guide

You can use Skype from your PC to call the free numbers if you have no phone available

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

@BadService You need to follow the advice given to you by @jonsie. As your phone is only 4 months old it is still under warranty. If your purchase was made through O2 online, the phone needs to be sent back to O2 for repair. Calling customer service to arrange to do that is the only way you can proceed.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@BadService welcome to the o2 Community forum
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the o2 shop what's up there?
I think @jonsie was right too, it would be better to contact the manufacturer. I have always found a manufacturer to be very helpful and will know how to deal with the issue.
Anyway good luck with whatever you decide to do.

As Stated My Sales contract was not with the manufasturer but with O2. Sale of Good Act specifically says Sellor is reponsible for goods Consumer Credit Act states that goods bought on credit, where that credit is arranged by seller, remain the sellers goods untill the 'creditor' has copmpletely deliverd all monies to the lendor Thus the phone was not mine untill final payment of Credit agreement'
