I need a default removing from my credit file I have emailed credit file referrals team over and over again with no response, I need it removing as I’m applying for a mortgage or need it to say satisfied at least to show it’s paid as this is the only thing that’s stopping me, I need this sorting but they don’t seem to ever reply to emails and it’s so frustrating I’ve spoke to transunion who have told me to wait for a response I’ve been waiting over a month

Your only option is to contact them again and ask for an update.

The other thing to do, is make a note on your credit file, that you are wating for O2 to remove the default. I'm sorry no-one can help you here but it's a long drawn out process.

@Clo1

Just so you know, if its a genuine default even if its paid it will still show on your credit report, as a default

This article here tells you more about Default and Mortgages:
https://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/sep/18/how-bad-is-a-credit-record-default-for-mortgage-applic...

Also it is currently taking upto 60 days for any entries to be reflected on your credit report (from all companies).
