I made an account this afternoon and later decided it was not needed.  Can someone please let me know how to close this account.

Hi @AnnieS If this was an account for this forum you could just leave it and not bother to post.

You may want to come back in a year or so and ask for advice or just join in the fun

Otherwise one of our admin staff can close it for you

No need to worry about closing your account. If you don't post again it will eventually disappear.

And who knows you may find you need to contact us again, in which case no need to re-register 😉

If you really want to delete your registration on the forum, the only way is to message on of the forum managers who are @Marjo @Martin-O2 or @EmilieT

Hi all

 

Good points raised and I agree. I am going to leave the account  as it is.

 

I am not an O2 customer but you never know, things can change.

 

I received some spam email messages from O2 and I thought they were phishing mails.  All sorted now, blocked the address and deleted the mail.  Hopefully that will be the end.

 

You certainly have a great Community here, I am amazed at just how friendly it is.
