If they say you can't cancel then just return it under the 14 day cooling off period

Last time I ordered an accessory that was out of stock, I got an email telling me that they didn't know when it would be back in stock and to do nothing if I wanted to wait or to call and cancel if I wanted to source one elsewhere. Did they not give you this option? O2 deal with different third party suppliers and so cannot guarantee delivery dates.
